PR & Marketing Account Executive / Marketing Assistant

Our Account Executives and Marketing Assistants are responsible for implementing day-to-day PR and administration, reporting to an Account Manager or Director as appropriate. You should be a capable communicator, literate and have a good understanding of communication skills and B2B PR and marketing.

Our team is currently working from home to ensure the safety of our staff during COVID-19, and the successful candidate will be provided with all the necessary equipment before returning to office-working or a mix of home/office working in future.

Main responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers and Directors as required
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces (with guidance)
  • Liaise with journalists and editors on behalf of our clients
  • Monitor media coverage, analyse and report results to the wider team and clients
  • Attend client meetings, events and industry conferences
  • Handle clients’ social media accounts such as their Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn page
  • Deliver reports on social media, including traffic, engagement and follower figures

Key requirements:

  • 1-2 years working in a marketing environment – ideally a B2B PR agency
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude to new tasks and experiences
  • Excellent organisation and initiative
  • Ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Literate and articulate with strong communication skills and good telephone manner
  • Able to travel to customer meetings and industry events as required
